Dear Students,

This Women’s Day, we invite you to be part of a meaningful and inspiring celebration that honors the vision, strength, creativity, and achievements of extraordinary women who have shaped the world around us.

✨ Performance Showcase:
Students will dress up as inspiring female role models and present a short speech in character, bringing her journey to life. Share her struggles, her breakthrough moments, and the vision that made her a force of change and how it has inspired you personally.

📅 Date: 9th March 2026 Monday
📍 Venue: FIDA the design school
⏰ Time: 12 noon

🎤 Participation Guidelines:
* Choose a female role model who inspires you
* Prepare a 2–3 minute speech
* Present yourself creatively and confidently
* Boys can also participate by Speaking about a woman who shaped their life and inspired them.

Every designer has a beginning—and every journey starts with a spark of courage. ✨

At FIDA The Design School, we believe creativity can be nurtured, guided, and transformed into confidence. This inspiring video shares the journey of Tisha, a passionate fashion design student from our Chennai campus, who turned her initial doubts into a beautiful design achievement.

When Tisha first began her fashion journey, she admits she felt completely blank and unsure of her creativity. From struggling with confidence to finding the perfect fabrics for her vision, the process seemed overwhelming at first. But with the continuous mentorship and encouragement from the experienced faculty at FIDA, she gradually discovered her creative voice.

With guidance in idea development, fabric sourcing, and garment construction, Tisha transformed her concept into a stunning final creation—a floor-length emerald green gown featuring a sequined high-neck bodice with elegant sheer sleeves and a beautifully draped skirt.

Today, she proudly presents a design that perfectly reflects her imagination and growth as a designer.
