🪑✨ SITE VISIT TO TIMBER HOUSE | EXPLORING THE ART OF FURNITURE DESIGN

An enriching furniture design site visit to Timber House offered our students a wonderful opportunity to explore diverse furniture styles under one roof!

From the timeless elegance of traditional and Victorian furniture to the sophistication of British designs and the iconic Chippendale style, our students experienced the beauty, craftsmanship, and intricate details that define each design style.

🏛️ Observing these furniture collections firsthand helped students understand the evolution of furniture design, appreciate fine craftsmanship, and explore the relationship between style, aesthetics, and functionality.

At FIDA The Design School, we believe that site visits are an integral part of design education—bridging classroom learning with real-world experiences and inspiring the next generation of designers. 🎓

✨ Learning Beyond Classrooms | Exploring the World of Interior Design 🏡

Interior Design is all about understanding a space as a whole—from materials and finishes to textures, functionality, and aesthetics. And what better way to learn than through real-world experiences! 💫

Our students had a wonderful learning experience at MA JACOB’S, exploring a wide range of materials and wood laminates while gaining valuable insights from their team of experts. Their detailed explanations helped students understand the finer aspects of material selection and its role in creating thoughtfully designed spaces. 🪵🎨

A special thanks to Mr. Robin Jacob for personally connecting with our students and making the visit even more meaningful. Such interactions inspire our budding designers and build their confidence to explore the industry with a fresh perspective. 🙌

✨ A special milestone—this marks my 25th batch visiting this showroom! A journey of continuous learning, exploration, and nurturing future interior designers @lalitharam94

At FIDA The Design School, we believe every industry visit is an opportunity to see, experience, and learn beyond the classroom.
