Fashion Designer and Educator

“Fashion is not simply what we wear; it is how we give form to an idea.”

As a Fashion Design Faculty member, I see education as a space where curiosity becomes creativity and creativity becomes a personal language. My role is not only to teach the fundamentals of fashion, but to help students understand why they design, what they want to communicate, and how they can translate an idea into something meaningful.

I believe good design begins with observation. It grows through research, experimentation, failures, conversations, and countless small decisions before finally becoming a finished piece. I enjoy being part of that journey with my students—from their first iInspiration and rough sketch to the development of a concept and the final creation.

Every student brings a different perspective, and I believe that difference is where originality begins. I encourage students to question conventions, explore materials and techniques, embrace experimentation, and gradually develop a design identity that is truly their own.

Alongside creative and technical skills, I believe contemporary fashion education should prepare students to think critically, work collaboratively, understand changing industry practices, and use technology as a tool for expanding their creativity.

Ultimately, my aim is not to create designers who simply know how to make clothes, but designers who have something meaningful to say through them.
